Water Damaged Basement in NW Stark County

Basements seem to always find a way to get wet. Whether it be from a water heater or broken overhead pipe we do a lot of work in basements.

In order to help the drying process quicken we had removed the carpet pad which can hold 90% of the water. Carpet pads work like a sponge holding water  and drying out very slowly.

With the pad gone and the carpet lifted we were able to get some air movement underneath to help dry out the concrete. Once it was all dried we replaced the pad and cleaned the carpets.

The homeowners of this NW Stark County home were very thankful for the quick response and restoring of their basement.
