Moldy Basement in Massillon Home

This home had water leaking through a basement wall. The homeowners did not see the leak and therefore it started t mold. Mold takes between 24-48 hours to begin growing. This wall had been wet for some time with a lot of mold growing on the inside. It wasn't until about 72 hours that the mold started growing on the outside of the wall.

The family was very distraught about the visible mold. After talking to the homeowner we assured them that we could get their basement cleaned and disinfected of the mold problem.

The second picture shows how the moldy wall was removed along with some of the studs. Now that the mold is gone we can begin rebuilding the basement.
