Storm Damaged Wood Floors
Water damage can be devastating especially for wood floors. Wood is very porous but usually soaks up the water that has made it through the cracks. The finish on the top doesn't allow the water to evaporate from the surface causing cupping or buckling. Which is evident in the first picture.
SERVPRO of NW Stark County has the knowledge and equipment to save wood floors after a water problem. The mat system in the second picture is extracting water in between the slats. The floor will dry out slowly allowing the wood to return to its original form. The next step will be to clean and seal the floor once more to make it "Like it never even happened."
